Choose leather for luxurious durability, or pick a solid or patterned fabric for a more casual look. Upholstery: Next, the overall look of your furniture will be dictated by its covering. As you do so, don’t forget to take into account space for foot traffic around the furniture so your room isn’t overcrowded. We just signed up recently, but here is my quick 2 cents. Unfortunately there is not a lot of discussion out there on Panoply and when/where it makes sense to use. I'll take a quick stab at it, but like you, I'd rather have some experts weigh in on it. I get the feeling that I’m just scratching the surface but I’d just like to get your impressions on these tools. However, that’s the reason why I wanted to give Heap Analytics a try, to avoid tag management and all that mess. Segment (I think) is a tag manager that allows you to track stuff on your site (and mobile app (?)) and then send those events to GA but also other places (?) but doesn’t create a warehouse or anything, you still have to export the data into your own warehouse if you want to. Stitch only concerns itself with streaming your data from various sources into a warehouse (which you already need to have setup) so some folks use it together with Panoply (?) □ but why if Panoply also does that with the perk of making a warehouse for you. Panoply spins a Redshift warehouse for you (so that’s 2 birds with one stone), you can connect to APIs from a few sources and then you have to connect to an external visualization tool to dashboard the data. Judging from their websites I can’t figure out if they’re mutually exclusive or supposed to be used together in some way. Is anyone using any (or a combination) of these tools? What’s your review of them? That’s how I stumbled upon Segment, Stitch, and Panoply. I suspect that we’re going to need a well orchestrated, yet nimble, ETL pipeline to keep everything under control and speed up “real” analyses. Tracking and basic reporting are the first order of business, but in the future, we’ll have to integrate other data sources (marketing, CRM, social media, etc) so data warehousing is going to become a priority as well. I’ve tried it a few years ago and it seemed promising. My first idea was to use Heap Analytics to get tracking working out of the box. I’d like to move to a world where we can skip endless discussions about what to track only to discover that we’re limited by what can be done in GA, or having to hassle developers to implement things, dealing with sampling issues, etc. GA maintenance and implementations lead to some of the most wasteful and contentious working partnerships I’ve ever experienced. In the industry I work in (in Europe mind you) most clients and agencies are still deeply embedded in Google Analytics that’s something that I’d like to change for us. Hi, I’ve recently joined an agency that has a wide range of clients. Dump it all in the crockpot and let it cook, then mix with pasta for a chicken crockpot recipe the whole family will love. Pour the Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate right into the heavy cream. This mix of chemicals I can assure will come with plenty of side effects! Just artificial sweeteners can cause dizziness, numbness, swelling, headaches, cramping, and more. First things first, you need heavy cream and your favorite Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa. In a large saucepan, add the cocoa powder, sugar, heavy cream, milk, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt. I came across some packets of hot chocolate mix in my cabinet….just add hot water or milk and enjoy, hmmmm sounds simple enough, but what was really in this mix? What I saw was horrifying, especially when I think of all the people out there drinking this with no idea what’s in it! It’s a mix of chemicals, artificial’s sweeteners, and sugar! By the way, the chocolate is even hard to detect! In a large mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, whip the cold whipping cream, vanilla extract, hot chocolate mix, and powdered sugar together. I think we all love hot chocolate now and then, but do you know what’s in it? I think it will shock you! In my journey to crack the label code, (and yes it is a code) every now and then I would stumble upon something and I didn’t think to turn the product over and check out the ingredients. Firstly the device doesn't prompt you to set the time and date on start-up which is nice if you just want to get straight to using it, but when it comes to looking for your files it can get a bit confusing if you haven't manually done this. PIN access isn't automatically set up when you start up the device for the first time so you will need to go into the menu and activate it, but this was a straight forward process.Ī couple of things I would say to be aware of, not as a criticism of the device but for ease of use. If you attempt to connect the device to a computer without entering the PIN you aren't able to access any of the files which is great. I really like this security feature - the device requests the PIN every time I turn on the device, and it will automatically turn off after around 50-10 minutes of activity so if you were to forget to turn it off and leave it somewhere then your files are still protected. The PIN setting was easy to locate and activate. When I first played back a recording it sounded horribly crackly through the headphones that came with the device, but as soon as I switched to my own headphones the audio quality was great. The headphones supplied are not good quality so don't assume that the audio quality is as heard through these if you're using the headphones on your first listen. The audio comes through clearly on the built-in speakers. Playback quality on the device is also very good. I haven't tested the internal mic in this context so can't compare. However using it did give me some peace of mind with regards to audio quality when recording meetings that were happening virtually. The sound quality through the built-in mic is actually pretty good so although I bought the Olympus speaker I probably didn't need it. You can just switch it on and start recording straight away. Remove the lid and continue baking until bread is a deep chestnut color but not burnt, 15 to 30 minutes more (It took me about 15). Unfold the tea towel and quickly but gently invert the dough into the pot, seam side up. Using pot holders, carefully remove the preheated pot from the oven and uncover it. Half an hour before the end of the second rise, preheat the oven to 475 degrees F, with a rack in the lower third, and place the covered 4 1/2 – to 5 1/2 -quart heavy pot in the center of the rack.ĥ. If it springs back, let it rise for another 15 minutes.Ĥ. If you gently poke it with your finger, it should hold the impression. The dough is ready when it is almost doubled. Fold the ends of the tea towel loosely over the dough to cover it and place it in a warm, draft-free spot to rise for 1 to 2 hours. If the dough is tacky, dust the top lightly with wheat bran, cornmeal, or flour. Gently place the dough on the towel, seam side down. Place a tea towel on your work surface and generously dust it with wheat bran, cornmeal, or flour. Nudge and tuck in the edges of the dough to make it round.ģ. Using lightly floured hands or a bowl scraper or spatula, lift the edges of the dough in toward the center. Use a bowl scraper or rubber spatula to scrape the dough out of the bowl in one piece. When the first rise is complete, generously dust a work surface with flour. Cover the bowl and let sit at room temperature until the surface is dotted with bubbles and the dough is more than doubled in size, 12 to 18 hours.Ģ. If it’s not really sticky to the touch, mix in another tablespoon or two of water. Add the water and, using a wooden spoon or your hand, mix until you have a wet, sticky dough, about 30 seconds. Anyone have a good elastic pant source you wanna share? I even have timers set on my cellphone for the rises. I might be making this on a weekly basis. It’s so easy and that’s where my fear comes in. We crushed that bread and left a trail of crumbs on the cutting board. I was proud to present this loaf to my family who are serious carbophiles. The dough on the inside is soft and moist a perfect contrast with all the crunchies. The crust is glorious something you’d get from a bakery and the crunch is insane. Good idea, huh? The raisins get super plump and you can taste a subtle hint of cinnamon with each bite. I started with one of my most favorite kind of bread-Walnut Raisin. So when my brother bought me his new book, I was stoked to see a bunch of recipes that helped boost the flavor of the bread. I loved topping the bread with salted butter & jam or using it for sandwiches, but I was never satisfied with eating it on its own. The plain loaf is great but it always seemed like it needed something. Ridiculous! Recently I saw Jim Lahey (the master behind the No-Knead method) on the Martha Stewart Show demonstrating a carrot walnut loaf from his new cookbook and my love for no knead bread was rekindled. I think it might have been that low-carb diet I was on. But then out of nowhere my fixation fizzled and I didn’t make a loaf for two years. I made my first no-knead loaf before I started blogging and was kind of obsessed. Shut up!Įver heard of no knead bread? I am pretty sure you have! It’s been a sensation for the past few years on the internet and all across the country. It also makes me want to continue eating it and I might have to unbutton my jeans while I type this. It’s so good that it makes me want to cry. I did it! I made another angelic loaf with a crispy crunchy crust jeweled with oooey gooey raisins and toasty chunks of walnuts to boot. I thought my first attempt was a fluke because there is no way could I have made bread this good. I made this recipe twice before I decided to share it with you. What's so special about Molasses? The music sometimes turns lyrical, sometimes playful, carrying Corteo through a timeless celebration in which illusion teases reality. Juxtaposing the large with the small, the ridiculous with the tragic and the magic of perfection with the charm of imperfection, the show highlights the strength and fragility of the clown, as well as his wisdom and kindness, to illustrate the share of humanity within each of us.
